However, it is presumed that the building was constructed in the second half of the 18th century, as evidenced by the typical late Baroque fa\u00e7ade, with its large central doorway (Fig. b) and overhanging balcony, with a wrought-iron grille <em>in the shape of a goose chest<\/em> (Fig. c), supported by corbels decorated with floral motifs (Fig. d).<br \/><span style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); text-align: var(--text-align);\">Robust pilasters and a projecting cornice border the main fa\u00e7ade which, as a whole, have a rigid layout consisting of simple, classical lines (Fig. e), interrupted by the dynamism of the decorative elements and balcony grilles (Fig. f).<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); text-align: var(--text-align);\">The interior retains almost nothing of its original features because the building has been renovated and divided between the Veneziano and Sgarlata families who live
