Huit villes font partie du district de la vall\u00e9e de Noto (Caltagirone, Militello in Val di Catania, Catane, Modica, Noto, Palazzolo Acreide, Raguse et Scicli), frapp\u00e9es et en partie d\u00e9truites par le puissant s\u00e9isme de 1693. La reconstruction a suivi le go\u00fbt du baroque tardif de l&rsquo;\u00e9poque, qui les caract\u00e9rise et les rend encore aujourd&rsquo;hui uniques sur le plan
