On y trouve des vestiges qui m\u00ealent diff\u00e9rents styles architecturaux, \u00e0 partir d&rsquo;une fen\u00eatre souabe jusqu&rsquo;aux \u00e9l\u00e9ments typiques de l&rsquo;architecture catalane (Fig. a).&nbsp;<br \/><span style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); text-align: var(--text-align);\">\u00c0 l&rsquo;ext\u00e9rieur, on peut admirer le clocher qui a r\u00e9sist\u00e9 au s\u00e9isme et une chaire en pierre sculpt\u00e9e (Fig. b).<\/span><br \/>L&rsquo;histoire raconte que l&rsquo;\u00e9glise existait d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9poque des moines cisterciens, quoiqu&rsquo;aucun document l&rsquo;attestant n&rsquo;ait jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 trouv\u00e9.<br \/>Le s\u00e9isme de 1693 l&rsquo;a partiellement d\u00e9truite, ne laissant que quelques parties intactes comme les quatre chapelles de la nef gauche.<br \/>De r\u00e9cents travaux de restauration r\u00e9alis\u00e9s dans la premi\u00e8re chapelle ont permis de d\u00e9couvrir, sous une couche de peinture pr\u00e8s de l\u2019<em>autel du Crucifix<\/em>, une fresque du XVe s. repr\u00e9sentant une crucifixion (Fig. c). On acc\u00e8de \u00e0 la seconde chapelle, d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 la Vierge, par un portail gothique richement orn\u00e9 de gravures en pierre calcaire et dont les sommiers de vo\u00fbte repr\u00e9sentent des visages (Fig. d). L&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur de la chapelle, refait en style Renaissance, abrite un merveilleux retable en terre cuite datant de 1538, verniss\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;origine, le <em>Dormitio Virginis<\/em> (Fig. e), qui suite \u00e0 une restauration maladroite a perdu son \u00e9mail et sa teinte originaire. De par les caract\u00e9ristiques repr\u00e9sentatives utilis\u00e9es, cette \u0153uvre pourrait avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par un c\u00e9ramiste affirm\u00e9 en relation avec les Della Robbia.<br \/>Tous les arcs gothiques sont enrichis de sculptures repr\u00e9sentant des cr\u00e9atures c\u00e9lestes, des animaux monstrueux ou fantastiques, typiques du bestiaire m\u00e9di\u00e9val&nbsp;<span style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); text-align: var(--text-align);\">(Fig. f)&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); text-align: var(--text-align);\">et dont l&rsquo;all\u00e9gorie n&rsquo;est pas toujours facile \u00e0 interpr\u00e9ter, comme par exemple le longe qui se d\u00e9vore, qui repr\u00e9sente la luxure chez Dante Alighieri, tandis que pour d&rsquo;autres c&rsquo;est l&rsquo;envie qui ronge dedans.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div
